This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Wonderful Net Edwardian Shirt
From the seller:
Inventory no: Wbl.1121
Absolutely stunning ,rich creamy white edwardian top, blouse .
This blouse has a fuller pigeon chest which would give a lady
that perfect s-bend silhouette that was so popular in late 1800`s.
The front part of that look carried into the early 1900-05.
The top has very tight fitting sleeves with extra long cuffs
Two tiny mushroom buttons finish off a very romantic sleeve.
There are seven tiny mother of pearl buttons up the front.
The peplum part has three demential tiny flowers.
Original silk belt is gone,it was attached under two flowers
in the back.
This top was original worn with a silk camisole.
Could also be worn as jacket.

Length : 19 1/2" in the back

Absolutely in great condition. Totally wearable.
All I could find was a few bites,
largest around the right
side by the bust, would not be visible when
wearing a camisole and one by the back collar.
From Me:
Based on the collar and overall silhouette, I'm saying 1910's for this piece.
