This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Tiered Skirt
From the seller:
This skirt dates to the Edwardian era and is fashioned of layers of organdy ruffles on an organdy base, all sheer and white. The condition is excellent, a mild hint of age color with a thumbprint yellow stain and pinhead hole hidden beneath the bottom ruffles. Just beneath the waistband, there are several small pinhead rust stains that are hard to detect. Measures 26 inches around the waist, 37 inches in length, and bottom hem flowing 80 inches around.
From Me:
I'm thinking teens era for this. Sorry I'm late in posting - very very long day at work!
