1870's Brown Bustle Outfit















From the seller:

A majestic 1870’s tan and brown silk bustle gown. The bodice is made of brown silk and has long back tails. There is a pocket on each side of the hips that are trimmed with decorative buttons. The hemline and back tails are trimmed with brown silk fringe. The center back peplum is also decorated with silk fringe and decorative buttons. The bodice is lined with cotton and has a front button closure. The skirt is trimmed with wide bands of brown silk and ruched ruffles that are edged with brown silk. The skirt is lined with cotton. The gown is in very good and sturdy condition. There is mild underarm discoloration and a few surface only splits along the seam line of the armscyes. There is one missing button. A truly grand display gown. Bust 32 Waist 24 Front skirt length 40 Back length 47.
