Blue and Orange Teens Era Dress

From the seller:

Vintage 1920-30s DRESS NAVY BLUE CHIFFON with BUGLE

Reminiscent of the clothes seen on "Downton Abbey", this dress is possibly wearable if worn with extra care. From the era of the late 20s - 30s. It has an underbodice and skirt. The chiffon has an inset of coppery colored chiffon and tiny buttons center front. There is beading along the sleeve edges, bodice edges and on the upper skirt and lower skirt. Condition: In good condition. There are some holes in the chiffon, esp. near the front right upper shoulder area. There are also some old repairs to the chiffon. Otherwise, the beading is intact and secure and the undergarment is in good condition. This is a wearable garment, but would have to be worn with care.

The approximate measurements are as follows:

B = 40"

W = 32"

H = n/a

Shoulder to shoulder across back = 15-1/2

Center back neck to waist = 14-1/2"

Waist to Hem Length = 32

From Me:

.... So if you know this is like the clothing on Downton Abbey, why in the world would you place it a good 10 to 20 years after the show is set? /facepalm

This probably from the early part of WWI.
