1880's Bustle Dress

From the seller:

A stunning 1880’s gray silk and tan lace bustle dress that has been de-accessioned from a museum collection. The cataloging tag is stitched inside the bodice. There is also a tag on the skirt that identifies that the gown was sold from the Sotheby’s Auction House. The high neck collar, front opening and sleeves are trimmed with lace. It is lined with stripe cotton and has a front hook and loop closure. The lower section of the bodice also has opening for a lacing closure but the lacing is missing. The front panel of the skirt has a layered of lace. The skirt is attached to the back of the bodice. The dress is in very good condition. There are no splits or holes in the fabric. There are circles of light underarm discoloration. Bust 34 Waist 24 Front skirt length 38 Back length 41.

From Me:

What the seller said. :-)
