This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

1890's Black and Yellow Bodice
From the seller:
DESCRIPTION:
Fancy black silk satin brocaded with pastel yellow botanical sprig design, high quality probably French manufacture. Front hook and eye, fully lined and stayed with machine lace and bead accents along with high contrast yellow silk chiffon box pleats at cuffs and neckline and at chest, this jabot has some hooks on it that must have connected in a certain way on the front, I was not able to find the eyes, so the jabot chiffon would probably look a bit different then styled. Very nice condition antique. Chest measures 30", waist 20", length 17", sleeves 22".
From Me:
Late 1890's/Turn of the Century for this one. Probably 1898 or so.
