This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Black Beadeded Edwardian Shoes
From the seller:
ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL EDWARDIAN SHOES I HAVE COME ACROSS,,, THESE ARE FROM THE PERKINS AND GOOSELINK,OSKALOOSA,IOWA,,,, THE INSIDE HAS THE NUMBERS, 37 2 3825. I LOVE THE SOFTNESS OF THE LEATHER, THE INTRICATE BEADING AT THE FRONT OF THE SHOE AND THE STRAPS WITH THE ORIGINAL BUTTONS,,,, I DO SEE ON THE BACK THE LEATHER HAS SOME FADING, A GOOD POLISHING WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS, THE MEASUREMENT FROM OUTSIDE HEEL TO TOE IS 8 INCHES, THE INSIDE MEASUREMENT FROM HEEL TO TOE IS 9 1/2 INCHES, THE INSTEP IS 2 7/8. THE THE HEEL IS 2 1/4 INCHES IN HEIGHT, COMPARE THESE MEASUREMENTS TO CURRENT SHOES TO SEE IF THEY WILL FIT, BEAUTIFUL TO DISPLAY FOR THE HISTORICAL VALUE,,,
From Me:
Probably 1900's going into the 1910's.
