This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Purple and Polka Dots Edwardian Dress
From the seller:
A lovely antique Victorian era silk dress in blue with white polka dots. There's net lace trim at neck and sleeves. The sleeves are also embellished with black velvet ties and buttons.
It measures from shoulder to bottom 52 inches, under armpits across chest is 19 inches, waist about 26 inches, neck 12 inches and sleeves 21 inches. Light spotting.
In nice shape.
Just found from a Philadelphia Pennsylvania estate.
I have many Victorian and antique clothing from this home. Do stop by my store to see the other pieces. This all came from one family.
A neat one to use for display.
From Me:
Very much Edwardian (notice the lines are similar to the sheer white dress I just posted?) and it's lavender and it has dots and awesome use of ribbon and...yeah, I like this one. ;-)
