All The Pretty Dresses

This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

1890's Bodice

From the seller:

19th Century Victorian Bodile

This Turn of the Century Bodile is in Outstanding Condition, Inside and Out. I Found a Tiny Pin Hole on one of the Sleeves. Maroon Silk. In Excellent Condition with BIG GIGOT Sleeves.

Size : Waist is Approx 28 Inches. 12 Inches from Sleeve to Sleeve on Back.

Condition: Excellent Condition (See Above)

From Me:
Change out the rose brocade for leather and I think I see my next Steampunk outfit right here. With my western 1890's pants, of course!
