This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

From the seller:
This is a stunning 1900's Edwardian Purple Butterfly Soutache Lace Jacket. We bought this along with about 200 other Edwardian pieces. The seller informed us that they are all from the late 1800's to early 1900's. We will be listing these pieces over the next several months, so be sure to check back. This jacket has a 36" bust, 17" shoulder to shoulder, 36" at the hem, 23" long and 19" sleeves. Gorgeous detail, covered buttons, 1 missing on the front, but each cuff has 2 which you can take from. On the back left shoulder you can see a small tear in the lace, this is the only obvious wear. We will be selling all of these pieces AS IS. Thank you for looking!
From Me:
This is scrumptious! You can just make out the red underlayer beneath the navy blue.
