AUTHENTIC ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 1870'S GREEN PLAID SILK BUSTLE BACK HOUSE DRESS~An Iridescent Silk Taffeta Printed Plaid comprised of Kelly Green, Light Gold, Black Detail with Watered Vertical Splashes of Kelly Green, Black & Pink~Lace trimmed round neckline~Somewhat Dropped Shoulders Sleeves~Long Sleeves with Pleated Ruffled Cuff Detail & Hem Detail~26 Green Faille Covered Buttons extending vertical down entire dress~Handsewn Button Holes~Waistband seam to sides~Full Gathered Skirt with "V" inverted gathered Bustle Back with 2 button detail~Train longer in back~Delightful side working patch pocket decorated with light green silk taffeta ribbon & bow~Unlined; except Tan Polished Cotton Bodice Lining & No Stays as Breakfast House Dress or Afternoon Tea Gown Dress~Period Treadle Sewing Machine & Hand Sewing Present~IN AS FOUND PRE-OWNED ANTIQUE CONDITION~

Measurements are 16" across Shoulders, Armholes 14" around each, Sleeve Length 21" - 21-1/2" long each, Bust 17" across front armpit to armpit, Waist 13-1/2" across front, Hips 24" across front, Total Length Vertical Front 51" & Vertical Back Length 56"~Full Sweep 116" around~Remember Antique/Vintage sizes were often different/smaller compared to present day sizes~Measurements taken flat~Please check against your own or similar garment as no returns if it does not fit
NOTE IN AS FOUND PRE-OWNED ANTIQUE UNCLEANED CONDITION~NOTE: DAMAGE~Staining/Discoloration to interior underarms polished cotton lining~Obvious staining/discoloration to exterior underarm areas~Pleated Ruffled Cuffs have come unsewn on both sleeves & need to be re-sewn by hand~Some fraying to Pleated Cuffs~Tiny to small pinholes, tiny to small dimples/shatters to silk taffeta fabric here & there~3/4" Vertical Tear/Shatter near buttonhole right above waistline~Fabric on buttons has some staining~1-1/4" Vertical Shatter to right front side seam around waistline~It appears both side front seams perhaps were altered/taken out & re-sewn~Discoloration/Staining to upper left sleeve & upper/mid left back/armpit area as shown~4 1/4" holes upper right shoulder & 3 1/4" holes to right mid-back side of skirt that were repaired/patched in the last 30+ years on interior lining & fabric as adhesive iron-on fabric patches were used!~Some staining outlines to taffeta fabric here & there~Hand-sewn repair to right vertical back mid-bustle back seam & center seam~Staining areas to hemline area here & there with a small tear lower hemline~Some Large staining area (s) in other places on the skirt/dress~No strong odors
