This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

PLEASE NOTE: All the dresses being put up at auction this week are being sold AS IS. These dresses are intended as inspiration and decorative pieces. Thanks!
Hello and welcome to our auction! Up for your consideration is a 1920s 30s Womens Peach Pink Silk Embroidered Flapper Dress. This dress is in good condition, but has a number of tears and stains, as pictured. All the same, this dress is a beautiful peach color and features great embroidery work. Again, this dress is being sold AS IS and are being sold as inspiration or collectors pieces. Size is a Large, but please see below for exact measurements. Thanks for looking, and be sure to check out our other auctions for more great vintage items!
Measurements
Bust (Measured from armpit to armpit then doubled)- 21 inches across; 42 inch chest
Waist - 19 inches across; 38 inch waist
Shoulders (Measured straight across the back)- 16 inches
Length - 43 inches
Dress opening - 66 inches
From Me:
I think the seller means the hem is 66" around the bottom. I think the colors have faded over the years. It was most likely originally white lace, pink silk, and lovely jet black beads.
