This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Titanic Era Evening Dress
From the seller:
This is a beautiful antique dress made of silk chiffon and fully lined with silk. The fabric is very old and shows signs of wear such as slight runs in the chiffon. The lining in the sleeves appear to be a new cotton which makes me question if this was reconstructed out of antique fabrics. The front embroidered embellishment is worn, as seen in the last picture. It is very delicate and shows it's age although would be beautiful collectors piece or perfect for a one time costume.
Bust: 34"
Waist: 28"
Length: 66"
From Me:
The colors to this are just amazing. I love the bright pink silk.
