This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Coral Pink 1920's Dress
From the seller:
This is an antique 1920s art deco flapper dress with a beaded design to it. It is a pretty see through pink and has the original tank top liner that was used underneath so you wold reveal too much. I really know nothing about woman's sizes or how to measure, we did take some rough measurements which are as follows, 41.5 inches in total height, 12.5 inches wide from outer shoulder to outer shoulder, 8.5 inches wide in the neck region, 17 inches wide at the hip area. The beaded decoration appears to be in good condition. There is some slight normal discoloration around both armpit areas. There is no makers name or size anywhere on it. We did picture both sides of the dress. Winning bidder is to include $ 8 for shipping and handling in the continental United States, please email for rates outside this area.
From Me:
Let's face it, with those barely there strips of fabric for a skirt, this dress would almost being shocking today. Although, I just need to go over to people of walmart to see that is not the case...at least this would be pretty!
