This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Late Victorian Red Shoes
From the seller:
D408 – 1890’s-1900 Red Silk Shoes: These shoes are in very rough condition. They are worn with splits and damage but they still retain some charm. Written inside is 4B. They are not wearable, but are great for display or inspiration. You can barely read the label. “B Lowenstein & B (Can’t make out the second word that starts with “B”), Memphis -New York”. They have tattered silk roses on the toes and are a very rare color. Bidding starts at $0.99 with no reserve.
From Me:
These *might* even be early 1900 but they are in that Turn of the Century time frame.
