This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Late Regency/Early Romantic Era Child's Dress
From the seller:
An angelic 1830’s child’s cotton dress that has recently been de-accessioned from a museum collection. The cataloging tag is stitched inside the bodice. The dress is decorated with white embroidery that has centers of white netting. The puffed sleeves are trimmed with embroidered epaulettes. The skirt is attached to the bodice with cartridge pleating. The bodice has a drawstring closure at the back neckline and a tie closure at the waist. It is in very good condition. There are a couple of tiny holes and a few splits in the netting inserts. The flaws are very minor. Shoulders 10 Bust 20 Waist 20 Length from shoulder to hemline 26.
From Me:
I *really* think this is more 1820's based upon the way it closes and how high the waistline is.
