1830's Outfit?

From the seller:

THIS OUTFIT IS PROBABLY CIVIL WAR PERIOD. IT IS ALL HANDMADE. EACH PIECE HAS FADED DIFFERENTLY. THE SKIRT IS BRIGHTER. THE TOP SHOWS SOME WEAR, BUT I WOULD SAY IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR IT'S AGE. THERE ARE NO TEARS, AND I DO NOT SEE ANY HOLES. THE SKIRT HAS SEVERAL TINY HOLES AND SOME STAINING. I TRIED TO CAPTURE THE STAINING IN PICTURE #8. THE STAINING IS SUBTLE. THERE ARE NO TEARS. THE TOP IS VERY SMALL. THE MEASUREMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
TOP:     ARMS   18" ------    SHOULDERS   13" -----  WAIST   21 1/2"     LATERAL LENGTH OF TOP AT LONGEST POINT ----12"

SKIRT:     WAIST ---- 27"    LENGTH --- 37"

From Me:

I *think* this is was a late Regency/early Romantic dress that got remade to follow the fashions of the 1840's. It explains why the bodice is still high but the styling is very 1840's.
