This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Calico Tea Gown?
From the seller:
A very comfortable original circa 1905 lady's floral patterned calico printed cotton one piece house dress with a lined bodice, a curved and pleated yoke with a gathered front, a turned collar, a blind front button closure, a matching attached waist belt, a gored skirt with an inverted back, and a deep flounced hem. Shown with a lace neck insert that is not included. A pencil marking on the bodice lining reads $1.25 (its original cost). In very good clean sound as found condition, with light perspiration color to the bodice lining, and just a few pin dot age flaws. A very hard to come by everyday Edwardian era house dress or wrapper
From Me:
Given that this seller knows his/her stuff, I'm just going to let the description speak for itself.
