From the seller:
Such a pretty and well preserved 2 piece flapper sheer dress circa 1920's.
I believe you would wear a plain black slip underneath this as both pieces are very sheer. Dress is sheer at top with a center bow at neck with long ends that go down the front of the dress. Sleeves are sheer about 2/3 of the way down and then have beautiful lace with long sheer ties. They are tailored quite nicely with a bit of a puff at the lacey part. There is the typical drop waist followed by some gorgeous designed lace at the bottom. The over piece is a matching sleeveless long vest. There is a lace tie at top and a lace drop waist tie to bunch at the hips. It's hard to find 2 matching pieces still together in nice condition.
Condition is remarkably good, I see no holes in the sheer areas and just a few separations at seams of lace as shown in photos.
This is wearable dress (with an added slip). I have tried it on and would say it is about a size 6. The shoulders measure 15.5" and the overall length is 43" long.
From Me:
It scares me that we need to say "wear a slip" with a see thru dress but after seeing people of walmart and just walking down the street, I understand completely that it's necessary.
