This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. Titanic Era Corset
From the seller:
A seductive 1912 Edwardian white cotton corset. The label reads Love Bone. The top is trimmed with white embroidered cotton ribbon and lace trim. There are four attached garters. Edwardian corsets are worn just under the bust line. The corset has a front hook closure and opening for back lacing. The corset is in very good and clean condition. There are just a couple of mall age marks on the front near the top hooks. Measurements when tightly laced: Top 22 inches Waist 26 Hips 32 Front length 17 Side length 20 Back length 19.
