1870's Morning Dress

From the seller:

Fanciful Victorian 19th C Lace and Eyelet Insert Morning Gown

This piece dates to the Victorian 19th C and is fancier than most, fashioned of cotton with its entire front trimmed in lace inserts and rich embroidered bands. Matching attention taken to the cuffs, trimmed in lace ruffles at neckline and cuffs. There is some yellowed age stains to the skirting, several small holes on the rear back neckline as pictured, with an unseen vertical mend from shoulder seam down the back four inches, but otherwise in excellent strong wearable condition. Measures 32 inches around the bust, 24 inches around the waist, and 51 inches in its length.
Vintage clothing is described to its best and sold as found…and described as accurately as possible. The items HAVE NOT been cleaned and should be cleaned prior to wearing at the discretion of the buyer. Often for proper fit, hang, and wear ability, pieces will need to be altered and/or adding a hook or snap here or there, with a seam closure or strengthening needed. Vintage clothing is most often worn previously, and if old stock, often has slight imperfections from storage, a hint of color or odor.

From Me:

It has a pocket!!! :-D Most likely from the Natural Form Era in-between the Bustle Eras.
