Bustle Era (?) Corset Cover

From the seller:

Corset Cover with Ruched Bust Cups and Embroidered Eyelet Details

This fitted corset cover dates to the 1870’s and is fashioned of white cotton, heavily ruched over the bust cups with rich embroidered trims fully around. The piece closes up the front with shell buttons, the top one is absent and the bottom has no button, it would have closed with a button link. Fine embroidered eyelet ruffles and feather stitching trim arm holes with feather stitching around the neckline. In crisp, clean condition with only several age related pin point spots, strong and fully wearable. The sizing is small, measuring 30 inches around the bust, 24 inches at the waist, and center rear length measuring 18 inches.
Vintage clothing is described to its best and sold as found…and described as accurately as possible. The items HAVE NOT been cleaned and should be cleaned prior to wearing at the discretion of the buyer. Often for proper fit, hang, and wear ability, pieces will need to be altered and/or adding a hook or snap here or there, with a seam closure or strengthening needed. Vintage clothing is most often worn previously, and if old stock, often has slight imperfections from storage, a hint of color or odor.

From Me:

I'm not really sure if it is from the 1870's - it looks later to me- but we'll leave it there for now.
