This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. Edwardian Dressing Robe
From the seller:
This Victorian dressing gown is made from a taupe velveteen and trimmed with wide lace. It's pleated to a yoke and has a wide collar trimmed with lace. The sleeves are bell shaped, it has lining to the waist. It's faded, very faded and stained at the bottom and there's a tear at the hem. Small scattered spots and the lining is no good. It measures about 44 inches around the bust, across the back shoulder is 15 1/4 inches, hips are 80 and it's 58 1/2 inches long in front and dips to a train in back. as is
International priority mail includes tracking & insurance. First class mail does not. Although I will ship first class international items without insurance are sent at buyer's option.
