This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

1890's Pretty White Dress
From the seller:
A heavenly 1895 printed silk gown. The fabric has a gold pattern on an ivory background. The bodice and skirt hemline are lavishly trimmed with ecru lace and ivory satin ribbon. The bodice has full leg of mutton style sleeves. It is lined with cotton and has a front hook and eye closure. The skirt is fully lined with cotton. The gown is in good condition. There is very lightunderarm discoloration under one arm. There is some minor fraying on the inside collar and on the skirt waistband. There is a circle of discoloration on the lower edge of the skirt. The skirt has a 3 inch surface only split, one nickel size hole and one pea size hole. A charming display gown from the Belle Epoch era. Bust 32 Waist 23 Skirt length 40.
