Poss Turn of the Century Wedding Gown!

From the seller:
Up for the consideration is an Antique silk Victorian cream colored wedding gown with Battenburg lace overlay. This 19th century wedding gown is in relatively good shape considering its age and how often it's been worn in the past. Under the lace is a solid silk under skirt overlaid with sheer silk. The bustier has stays. The train has some staining from dragging on the floors when being worn.

There has been some repairs to the dress and was also professionally cleaned in 2000. However, some of the stains on the train did not come off. After that it was put away in a cedar chest until now. I have added all the photos which I thought would best represent its condition. This dress would look great on a mannequin in a turn of the century bedroom and could probably be worn very delicately for a short amount of time......you would have to decide for yourself.

Size approximate is 6 for someone 5'2" to 5'4" tall.

If I have forgotten anything, it was not intentional, therefore it's very important to e-mail me with any questions or concerns you may have before making an offer or purchasing it.

This Victorian gown is sold "as is" and is "final sale". No returns will be accepted.

I ship UPS Ground insured - with Quantum tracking. I only use the best packaging to ship. The above is from a smoke free environment.

Thank you for your interest in this exquisite wedding dress of a bygone era.

From Me:

*giggles* According to the seller, this would fit my sister in law without a corset!

Anyway, this is very much an early 1900's styled Edwardian gown. My guess is it's a summer wedding gown.
