This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Super cute pink and white overdress
From the seller:
This pretty Edwardian blouse is made from a pink damask and is trimmed with lace and embroidered netting. It hooks down the back and has covered buttons over the hooks and eyes. It has a small hole under one arm, a hole in the collar, a 1 inch tear by the side seam, hooks and eyes need to be secured some missing, a few small holes on the back and some dirty spots in the same area like it was caught in something, light fading, a few spots, sold as is. IT's lined in a light weight white cotton. IT measures 32 1/2 inches around the bust, across the back shoulder is 12 1/2, waist is 23, hips are 38 1/2 and it's 38 inches long. as is
From Me:
First, I really hope the slideshow works. Second, this is so cute! It would have been worn over a long lace skirt and petticoat but you can already see the modern lines in this Edwardian beauty. Take away the lace parts and the pink silk looks almost like a 1960s Mod style dress!
