This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Bustle Skirt Swiss Dot
From the seller:
This is a beautiful Victorian era layered skirt - perhaps used for a wedding. It has several layers, with a larger overlay at the top. It is in good vintage condition, with some age spots here and there, and a missing button at the waist.
Approximate measurements:
Waist: 24 inches
Length: 39 inches
Hip: 38 inches
Please contact me with any questions.
From Me:
This is most likely from the 1880's. It looks to be of Swiss Dot and was most likely a summer skirt.
