This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Edwardian Lace Gown
From the seller:
Wonderful find at an estate sale!!!
Museum quality with very little outward damage.
Beautiful lace overdress with netting and silk attached petticoat underneath.
Petticoat has the extra gathered ruffle at the bottom.
Satin trim - everything in a moonlight beige color.
Inside has sewn-in boning in the bodice and also on the high neck lace.
Underarm perspiration protection is also sewn in.
Length from the bottom of the collar is 59" in the front and 67" in the back.
21.5" around the satin on the high waist.
13.5" across shoulders.
Three quarter netted sleeves with draped lace overlap.
Wonderful lace pattern.
The dress is fragile but in very good condition for it's age.
The under petticoat, however, has lots of little slits and is VERY fragile.
I will offer free shipping in the U.S. only.
From Me:
I love the look of this Edwardian gown! It's so sweet!
