This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Corduroy Edwardian Day Skirt
From the seller:
Fabulous long corduroy walking skirt. Thick off white/cream colored wide wale corduroy with a slight a-line. It comes with two different belts. One is more plain, with a large covered button closure and the other snaps closed and has a large button and bow like design in the front.
This skirt is in wonderful condition. I have laundered it and it and see no damage or repairs. It closes on the side with 7 eye hooks.
This auction does not include the blouse.
Waist 26”
The belts are closer 25 ½”
Hips 40”
38” long
This skirt came in the trunks purchased at an estate sale in Maine full of Victorian and Edwardian era clothing that I am currently selling on Ebay
From Me:
I just love it because it's corduroy. :-)
