From the seller:
This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

1890's Blouse!
From the seller:
This bodice dates to the Victorian 19th century and is fashioned of a
lightweight thin cotton and is heavily ruched gathered in the center of
both the front and rear with cotton covered buttons enclosing the
front. The sleeves are cut in massive mutton style with the bottom
wrist finished in eyelet inserts with an eyelet edging. The top has
oversized pleating on the center rear, front in eyelet inserts with a
full flouncing cape of eyelet running completely around, beautifully
draping the oversized puff sleeves. Eyelet trims the neckline fully
around. There is one unseen pinhead hole with one sleeve having a
fingertip fray tear as pictured and a one inch portion of the cotton
that lines the eyelet in the front interior is absent. The piece is in
crisp, clean, freshly laundered condition. Measures 36 inches around
the bust, 26 inches around the waist, and 19 inches in length.
Vintage clothing is described to its best and sold as found…and
described as accurately as possible. The items HAVE NOT been cleaned and
should be cleaned prior to wearing at the discretion of the buyer.
Often for proper fit, hang, and wear ability, pieces will need to be
altered and/or adding a hook or snap here or there, with a seam closure
or strengthening needed. Vintage clothing is most often worn previously,
and if old stock, often has slight imperfections from storage, a hint
of color or odor.
