This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Turn of the Century Boots
From the seller:
Being offered for auction is a pair of antique victorian ladies button up boots with button hook.
Size: The boots measure from heel to toe; 11", widest outside (ball of foot) measurement; 3". The boots are 9 1/2" tall from bottom of heel to top of boot.
Condition: The boots are in fine condition considering the age of the boots. The leather shows age and light scuffing. The suede uppers show several small spots of moth/insect damage from years of storage, and one button is missing. The leather soles light wear near the toes and there is chipping on the rear of the right sole and this can be seen in the pictures. Please view all pictures to view overall condition of the boots.
Miscellaneous Information: The ladies boots date from around the turn of the 20th century. I will be glad to combine shipping.
Please view the pictures and email me with any questions that you have on this item. Thanks for looking.
This item is sold "as is". Payment is required within THREE days after end of standard auction unless other arrangements have been made. Buy It Now auctions requires buyer to pay immediately. Please read below for detailed payment and shipping requirements. Thank you and happy bidding.
From Me:
This style could be anywhere from the late Victorian well into the Edwardian era. My *guess* is early Edwardian but give or take 15 years either way.
