Bustle Era Blouse

From the seller:

This youth sized bodice dates to the Victorian 19th century and is fashioned of a plaid print sheer organdy over a cotton interior. Brown piped self ruffles trim neckline and cuffs with miniature buttons enclosing. Several small broken splits are beginning at the front shoulders, useable in parts if desired for small portions of fabric, the piece is very heavily stained through the front stomach, across the shoulders, and under the arms. Sold as found. Measures 28 inches around the chest, 23 inches around the waist, and 16 ½ inches in rear center length.

Vintage clothing is described to its best and sold as found…and described as accurately as possible. The items HAVE NOT been cleaned and should be cleaned prior to wearing at the discretion of the buyer. Often for proper fit, hang, and wear ability, pieces will need to be altered and/or adding a hook or snap here or there, with a seam closure or strengthening needed. Vintage clothing is most often worn previously, and if old stock, often has slight imperfections from storage, a hint of color or odor.

From Me:

Based on the sleeve design, I'm thinking this is 1870's. The high neck was more popular in the 1880's but the overall design looks 1870's. Maybe it's from the Natural Form rather than Bustle?
