This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. 1890's Red Bodice

DESIGNER : VICTORIAN TYPE : bodice , jacket , top DESCRIPTION : CHARMING VICTORIAN 1890’s BONED AND RUFFLED SEVERE BODICE IN BLOOD RED Dramatic leg o mutton sleeves Heavily boned in the waist with a severe wasp waist style Nice shirred detailing on the front. Note; this is a very very small size Rare colored vintage Victorian jacket COLOR: red MATERIAL : unknown, feels softer than wool and may be some sort of heavy cotton ( ? ) SIZE: XS MEASURES: bust= 28 waist= 22 shoulder = 13 CONDITION : GOOD CONDITION , there is some faint staining on the front and small pin holes here and there.
