This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

THIS DRESS IS SMALL AND THESE MEASUREMENTS ARE MEANT AS A GUIDE. THIS DRESS IS DESIGNED TO BE WORN LOOSLY TO GIVE IT FLUID MOVEMENT AND SPARKLE.
THE DRESS CONDITION IS GOOD FOR IT'S AGE, MATERIAL AND WEIGHT.
THERE ARE CIRCLE STAINS UNDER BOTH ARMS. A SMALL SPOT HOLE WITH SLIGHT WEAR, CENTER FRONT BUST . A SMALL SPOT HOLE, RIGHT HIP PANEL. LIGHT, FAINT BROWN SPOT STAIN, FRONT CENTER. BESIDE TOP OF BUGLE BEADS 1/4" HOLE NECKLINE, BACK RIGHT . LIGHT STAINS SPOTS, BACK RIGHT, SIDE PANEL AT HIPS.

THIS DRESS IS WEARABLE ADN THE BEADING IS REPAIRABLE.
I ADVISE CAUTION WHEN HANDLING AND WEARING CLOTHING OF THIS VINTAGE. EVEN THOUGH THIS PIECE IS STURDY IT IS STILL DELICATE AND NEEDS CARE TO BE PUT ON AND REMOVED WITHOUT DAMAGING IT.

From Me:
I'm still amazed at the bead work on this beauty!
