Wonderful 1890's Wedding Gown

From the seller:

1890's Spectacular Golden Silk Wedding Gown: Oh My, this fabric just shimmers. It is a heavy silk satin in a deep golden color. I wonder what the original shade was. It is just fabulous. You can see how wonderfully it displays. The bust is 31, the waist is 22 and the skirt length in front is 41 and in the back 68. It does have some issues. This 1890's silk dress is missing one hook off the skirt, it has some splitting and cracking of the sleeves, (see photos), some pitting to the silk and some wear to the bottom back of the hem. It is totally lined. The lining is in good condition. Look at the phenomenal wax orange blossoms. The silk chiffon of the yoke is in sound condition except for some wear at the back. Nearly all of the hooks and eyes are present. It has its original gold lace cord. I just didn't take the time to lace the dress up. It has great pearl embellishments, and look at the long pearl tassels going down the back of the dress. The shorter one is 19 inches long and the other one is 41 inches long. There are some pearls missing. This dress was custom made and their is no label inside. Even with all of its problems it is museum quality. Soft lighting would hide most of its issues. It was purchased originally from a museum de-accession. The bidding will start at 25.00. Please check out our other vintage up for auction and have fun bidding.

From Me:

Isn't this fabulous? I love that the wax orange blossoms are still with the dress.
