This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Frothy Mid Teens Era Summer Dress
From the seller:
A stunning 1912-1915 ivory net lace dress. The dress is decorated with white cotton floral and leaf appliqués. The bodice and skirt are trimmed with bands of beige satin. The front of the bodice is trimmed with ivory satin decorative buttons. The skirt is designed with two tiers. The top tier is decorated with the appliqués. The bodice has a net lace lining and snap closure. The waist is trimmed with a satin belt that has long streamers and silk tassels. The dress is in very good condition. There is some slight underarm discoloration, a 1 ½ inch thin line mark on one sleeve and the skirt has a 2 inch line mark and one small dime size mark. A beautiful and wearable dress. Bust 32 Waist 29 Length of skirt 35.
From Me:
Wearable size, frothy, and out of net, not a sheer? Awesomesauce!
