This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. If you have antique clothing in your collection, please, email me pictures of them and I will gladly add them to this site.

Late Victorian Fancy Shoes
From the seller:
1890's Kid Leather Wedding Slippers: These shoes were made in the 1890's out of kid leather and decorated with silk ribbons that are accented with a metal flower with faux pearl centers. The ribbon is frayed with age and the leather on the heels of one of the shoes is damaged on both sides. See photo. The inside of the shoe measures 9 inches long, the toe is 2 1/4 inches at its widest and the heel is 1 3/4 inches at its widest. They would make wonderful displays. The bidding will start at .99 with no reserve. Please check on our other vintage items and have fun bidding.
